Q. This seems too good to be true, what is the catch?

A. There isn't a catch. We need shows to sell advertising and your home is the show. We makeover your home, produce a show about it and then sell the advertising. It's a Win/Win for everyone.

Q. Is it really free?

A. Yes. Any items that Ready To Sell determines that they will complete, will be covered by Ready To Sell, including materials and labor.

Q. Where can I see previous makeovers?

A. You can see a list of recent makeovers and view before and after photos HERE.

Q. Why aren't there any makeover homes in my area?

A. If you don't see any previous makeover homes in your area on our Makeover page, it's probably because no one from your area has applied yet. As long as your home falls within the eligible boundaries, you can qualify for a free home makeover. You could be the first makeover in your area!

Q. Will I be on TV?

A. No. Footage of your home and the makeover process of your home may be included on an episode of Ready To Sell, but we do not show the homeowners on camera.

Q. Do I have to sell my home?

A. Yes. The whole purpose of Ready To Sell is to provide a makeover specifically for homes that are going to be sold.

Q. Can I use a different Realtor?

A. No. The host of the show, Harley Grahn is a Realtor with RE/MAX Equity Group, and would be the listing Realtor for your home.

Q. How much is the budget for each makeover?

A. There is no set budget. Each makeover is different depending on what the home needs and what contractors are available to fulfill those needs.

Q. How do you decide what work will be done?

A. Our focus in every makeover is to get the most money for the homeowner from the sale of the home, therefore we determine what changes will be most likely to appeal to the widest range of buyers, and will make the most impact.

Q. How long is the makeover process?

A. The length of the process varies, largely depending on your schedule, as well as the schedule of available contractors. You will have projects that you will be assigned to complete, including sorting, packing and storing belongings as directed by the design team. Once your projects have been completed our work can begin. Once we begin our work your home is usually on the market within a couple of weeks.

Q. How do you decide which homes receive a makeover?

A. It depends on what the home needs, and if we have contractors available to complete the work.
